VIRUS POLAR AND LOGIC 9

This may be a noobie question from a noob but, if I've started Logic 9 before switching on my Polar and then switch the Polar on, once Logic has finished scanning, The Polar effectively becomes my soundcard, not my Ensemble.

I have to go into Audio Prefs in Logic to revert back to Ensemble so that I can hear anything from Logic.

I know that there are many users with way bigger problems than this, but just wondered if there is something in settings on the Polar that I need to change to void this or if it simply is just a case of remembering to switch the Polar on before starting Logic.

Thanks in advance

This is nothing you could change with any setting in the TI Polar. Logic will automatically ask a user if a newly scanned device should be used as the audio interface. If so answer this with "no", then Logic should stay with the previously selected audio interface. This has nothing to do with the TI per se - Logic would behave the same way with any other audio interface that gets switched on when Logic is running already.
In general I would recommend to switch on the TI before you start Logic.

Best wishes,
