Virus Ti Keyboard not working

I have just bought a Virus Ti Keyboard off someone.

It powers up fine, the demo song plays, i can audition the sounds by pressing the 2 buttons (Shift + Audition), but the keyboard is totally dead..

The headphone volume is turned up & i have tried Output1, but all i can hear is the demo.. nothing when pressing any keys on the keyboard.

I have gone through the Config menu to see if it's been disabled, but it doesn't appear under any options.

The guy i bought it from said it was working at his place yesterday..

There is a chance it may of been damaged in transit, but thought i would see if i'm over looking something basic.

Any help will be great, thanks.

You should play with local settings (i guess in the midi menu, have a desktop here so can't verify) to make sure that the keyboard goes to the synth engine rather than straight out the midi port.

If you are feeling lazy, maybe you can connect a midi lead to the in and out to verify...

There are no MIDI notes to the right of the screen & the Keyboard isn't listed in the config menu.

I dont have a MIDI lead to hand to test, sorry. Thought the keyboad should play through the headphones at the very least..

I have just looked through the manual & on page 123 it says about the Keyboard 1/5 in the config setting.

These Keyboard options dont show up at all for me.

heh, sounds like it thinks it's a TI Desktop.

Have you contacted support?
