Numeric pad

I would really like to have a way to directly enter the number of a sound within a bank without using my mac (I'm often using my mac live with other soft synths, so I would like to be able to fast jump from a sound to the other without having to use Logic Main Stage)

If you hold shift you can tear through banks and patches pretty quickly with the softknobs

You can read the "Virus Tutorial" (Programming analogue synths) by Howard Scarr to learn a trick about pressing both patch + - buttons to scroll faster :) I find it even faster than the softknobs, though I'm not able to explain it with my poor English.

Basically if you want to go to the right you press the + and a second later the - and it will go faster. To get to the upper end youkeep pressed +, then you press and keep - (still pressing the +), release +, release - and you're at 127. Works the other way reversed. If you don't release the buttons you'll just scroll very fast.
I hope my explanation isn't too confusing, the tutorial really does it better :)

and when he said 'shift' he meant shift on the virus - nothing to do with the computer, you hold the shift on the virus then use the soft knobs to go through banks and presets (on the virus) really quickly.
