Virus C and Logic 9

Hi everyone! just got myself a Virus C off ebay and waiting for it to be delivered I can't wait! :D

As this is my first hardware synth I am a little confused of how I would record the sound into Logic, is it possible to record into software instrument or do I have to record raw audio from the Virus C? the reason I ask is I would like to record in software instrument so I can edit the note data and such :)

Cheers, Joshua.

Thanks for the reply Mark. I now have the Virus but as I expected I do not have any of the required leads apart from the power cable. Basically I have a MIDI keyboard which has one of these inputs (http://technology-guide.co.uk/images/printer-cable.jpg) and on my interface I have an XLR female. Do I need a 'printer cable' to 'midi' and a '2 jack to XLR splitter'? if so I can't find any of these cables anywhere haha

Cheers, Josh.

I have managed to connect the outputs of the Virus but now I need to know how to trigger the sound on the Virus which I have no clue on how to do that :(
