some help on this lead sound?

hi all guys !

well, this a link to a song of one of my favourite metal progressive band: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bk08JwDpSH4&feature=related

some suggestions about the keyboard sound? at 17th second, what type of modulation is it? just a cutoff modulation or something different?

thanks in advance for any help!! :)

its a nord lead and what your hearing is the oscilator sync on one of the oscillators being modulated by the lfo

but unless you have a nord your not going to get the sound

because most other keyboards havent got the same type of sync bud

thanks for reply :)

yes probably you have right, but i would like to get something similar but not the same of course.
In yuor opinion what type of waves i have to use for the oscillators? Maybe for the filter just a low pass with some resonance is ok?

thanks in advance

WHERES BEN

have you tried using the hypersaw osc for this.you can set the sync amount so its softer than the classic sync
then modulate the FM amount on lfo2 ond Osc 2 on Lfo1
its not perfect but closer than anything else i can get with
