Compressor effect

Not looking for anything super duper, but how about the ability to stick a compressor somewhere towards the end of the signal chain before output?

I find that abusing the compressor on a really dynamic patch produces some interesting effects. This is very much true for bass patches, especially for genres where the majority of production time goes into engineering said bass (dnb, dubstep, etc).

Vintage sensibilities/etc aren't a necessity, just something else that saves us the trouble of having to set up compression later on in the chain.

Compression can get one some incredibly gnarly-sounding basslines

...yeah ...a smashy compressor would do +1 :D ...or use the Punch knob

Indeed, but the Virus already has a limiter on the output (I believe) and the distortion effects pretty much do what the nasty end of a compressor would do... I haven't tinkered around with compressors specifically on the output, though, other than for distortion which the virus has bags of...
