TI will not boot up

HI, have had my TI for a few years now. All of a sudden it will not boot up. I have tried turning on with Exit button held which puts it into Update mode but software states it cannot install program. Have also tried turning on with Arp Edit button held with no results except for steady bright light above OSC volume. When I plug unit in, hit power on, nothing. Any suggestions???

Dead Battery ???

If it is a dead battery, can I replace myself? Would be very troublesome after just having it for a few years to have to send into authorized dealer just to replace a battery...

The dead battery should only affect your RAM memory, not prevent the Virus from booting up. Anyway you can replace your battery, it's a standard CR2032 cell, similar to those you find on computer motherboards. It requires opening up your Virus and being able to put it back together later.
Anyway I don't think this is the case and you really should e-mail the support desk.
