Strange scale changes when using controller transport buttons on Virus TI?

I'm using Cubase 5 and I have a silver M-Audio Oxygen 61 and every time I use transport buttons on the keyboard (with apparent values of 21 and 22 for FF and REW respectively), the scale of one of the oscillators changes on the Virus, i.e. chromatic scales turn into thirds but the other stays the same. I couldn't find controller values in the PDF's I have. Is there a way to filter these messages via the TI, because this doesn't happen with any of my other VSTi's.

i don't think so virus will be able to change or filter midi cc it's self
