I'm using firefox 3.5.2 too and I'm not getting the unsupported bar. You seem to have some addons or a firewall that filters out the user-agent. Nevertheless I changed the firefox that browsers that don't give a correct user-agent are accepted. ( Btw. there is no security advantage in hiding the user-agent string of a browser )

make sure you check "Enable BBCode in this message" in the Settings tab when posting. It should work. (You only have to do this once--it then becomes default for you.)
