Virus TI Snow as soundcard.. Asio too high..

Hello Access Music forum members,

I am having some trouble getting the asio to a somewhat considerable amount.
I am using the Virus TI Snow as a soundcard, and Cubase 5 as DAW.

When i use 2 parts from the TI, 1 instance of Kontakt 4 (4 parts), and the asio setting to the max (1024ms),
the cpu meter is still somewhat half full in Cubase. (hearing some cracks/noise etc)

Setting the asio lower, this is only getting worse...
Also in Cubase, multi core processing and audio performance boost is enabled.

The Macbook is a dedicated Audio / Producing system, so no other programs are running, no internet etc etc.

My setup is:

- Access Virus TI Snow
- Apple Macbook Aluminium (Dualcore 2.0 Ghz / 4GB Ram - Late 2008 model)
- Apple OSX Snow Leopard
- Steinberg Cubase 5
- Native Instruments Kontakt 4

Can someone point me in the right direction, getting the asio load to a low level?
What is you're asio load when using the Virus Ti as a soundcard?

Thanks in advance,
Best regards,

Mark
