New virus always wants to sync patches with Logic 9.02

The first time I start Virus Control AU within a single Logic session Virus Control wants to sync patches with the unit. This takes a good 10-15 minutes. What is going on here? Help please!

Brand new virus TI2 polar w OS 3.3.4.00 MacPro, SnowLeopard 10.6.2 Logic 9.02

Same thing happened to me yesterday when I installed 3.3.4.0 for a new Polar. Each time Virus crashed Logic 8 (which is often) or I reloaded a song or powered down due to note hangs Virus Control needed to sync the patches which takes 20 minutes with no way to stop it.
I feel your pain brother. Very frustrating.

similar problem here but only for ROM A. When I start a new virus control session, it automatically syncs ROM A. Although it doesn't take 20-minutes like others, it still not correct. Running Virus 3.3.4 with Live 8.10 Win7 64 bit.

Syncing patches at start up with DP7 also

The exact same problem has been happening with my Whiteout TI2 and DP6.03. Or course, DP isn't supported so I'm not surprised at this, but I'm concerned to hear Logic, a supported DAW, is having these problems too.
I am considering buying and changing over from DP to Logic, just so I can use the TI/USB set up... but maybe it's not such a slam dunk?

Please use Virus Control Center and update the firmware again (even if it says, it is current). Let me know, if that helps.

same problem in live

I have the same problem in ableton live 7.0.18, and leopard 10.5.8, makes it really hard to get ideas out sometimes.

IT WORKS!!!!! PROBLEM FIX!!!!! thanks alot I was getting crazy with the 15 minutes sync :)
