Super NooB - Saving Patches for Easy Access Question

Okay,

I have found about 20 or so patches in the ROM (Some Pads and Leads) that I want to move into RAM to easy access in live performances.

I would like my RAM 1: 1 - (1-8) for Pads and RAM 1: 2 - (1-8) for leads. I've tried reading the manual and I'm not sure I'm doing it right. I just want to take a ROM patch and move it to a specific location in RAM. Can that be done?

Please help!

If you are using VC you can use the browser page for this. Load the "source" ROM bank in one browser window and Load the "destination" RAM bank in the other browser window and drag and drop the desired patch from the former to the latter.
Otherwise you can simply select the patch, and use the "store" physical button to save it from the edit buffer to a desired RAM location.

I just can't seem to select a Ram location with out changing the patch I'm trying so save. Any thoughts?
I'll try VC as well. That seems easier.

Thanks.

you can switch to multi mode in order to use the other 16 edit buffers to audition other sounds, then switch back to single
