hey folks, its my first time posting in this site, so hello...

about 1min 23 seconds in, theres a higher pitched arp sound, if anyone could help and let me know how to possibly recreate this.....

If you're talking about the arp in the background, I don't think the Virus' ARP can play it's nontation, because it can only ascend or descend at a time. I think you will have to punch in the notes yourself. Regarding the sound itself it's probably a sawtooth wave, with very little filtering of the high end, or maybe even non at all, it has 0 attack time and quick decay to 0. I think it has filter saturation on distortion, so maybe it is better to create the decay by modulating oscillator volume from an ENV LFO set on sawtooth.

Ah ... I wrote that one. It almost certainly was the virus. Probably the Protools HD plugin version.

Buggered if I can remember exactly how the patch worked though, a long time ago now! It's so high in pitch it's difficult to say much about it. We'd have definitely put the notes in by hand, always did.

I think flabberbob is on the right track!
