Is it possible to use the virus over a network?

Does anyone know if its possible to use my virus over wifi? It would be extremely cool if this were possible. Anyone ever attempted anything like this before?

To clarify, my virus is connected to my main pc. I'd like to be able to use my laptop in other rooms and connect to the virus when making music. Would be really convenient but i don't know if its possible.

If you have another computer besides your laptop, which runs a DAW as well, you can use the ReWire protocol over your WiFi network.

Otherwise, you can just buy a wireless MIDI interface (transmitter + receiver).

Interesting, how well would the Virus TI perform over a wireless USB line? And is it easy to set up so more than one computer can receive the signal?

I guess that depends on the bandwidth and latency which may change from setup to setup.

I don't think you can broadcast USB, it has an upstream as well...

Well that pissed on my bonfire, wanted to see if there was an easy way to use my Virus on my Macbook while not in the same room, sometimes I find my studio a really uninspiring place!
