Need to restart Logic/Mac a lot for Virus to be recognised

Can anyone help me with this annoying problem.


Everytime i leave the ti for a hour and come back to work on that channel, i get this message





And i have mostly restart the mac. Is this a common problem?

This happens on my system sometimes. I have found a work around to it. Whith the Virus on, press the panic buttons and then shutdown your Virus. Turn on and enjoy. I would also update your Virus.

Hey i updated to the latest version of the Virus OS last week and i still havw this problem. Its really pissing me off tbh. What is the PANIC button dude?

I get that sometimes, only occasionally & I couldn't replicate it at will. If it's happening a lot for you you should maybe contact support as they can help you figure out of it's a hardware problem.

The Panic button is the Mono & Sync buttons pressed together.

do you have a screensaver or power saver modes enabled?

It seems to be going ok now but the automation is now REALLY playing up. Everytime i play the virus in Logics READ mode, the automation goes nuts. MUTE turns its self on and off all the time and the cut off and all other parameters keep setting them selfs at random positions.

I have the latest virus upgrade and run Logic 9.1.5 on OS 10.6.8



Any help would be great because im loosing faith in this machine and i really want to love it soo much,
