2 different error messages from 2 separate USB ports OSX Lion 10.7.1 (11B26) and Ableton Live 8.2.5

Hey all...i have literally just hooked up my Access Virus Polar Ti2 with Ableton live 8.2.5 using the latest Virus operating systems and the beta and receive two separate error messages when launching the Virus Total intergration software depending on which USB port i plug into...the right USB port gives me this one....

A device called "IR Receiver" sharing the same USB root hub with the Virus TI has been detected. This is a potential problem and might cause sync errors and audible artefacts when using Total Integration. Try to solve the problem by using another USB port instead.

and the left one gives me this one......

A device called "BRCM2070 Hub" sharing the same USB root hub with the Virus TI has been detected. This is a potential problem and might cause sync errors and audible artefacts when using Total Integration. Try to solve the problem by using another USB port instead.

needless to say this is extremely frustrating as i have just invested in a lot of studio gear and this is the first hurdle i've got to that i cannot find a solution..i'm itching to get writing..what is wrong with the software??..has this happened to others.is there a fix?...i have noticed several past threads involving similar issues but then the problem seems to go away and no threads since about a year and a half ago...any help would be greatly appreciated, many thanks

Hello,
First off these are warning messages and not error messages per se and these messages are normal for any Mac with Intel i3, i5 or i7 processors due to the changed USB system in these computers. Are you actually running into issues with Ableton Live and if so, what happens exactly?

Best wishes,

Thanks for the reply..you're right these are definitely Live messages...i'm having very bad syncing problems and sound dropouts this is accompanied with clicks and pops that can be heard through my audio interface and at the peak of this i get a 'press spacebar to resync(or something to that effect)...after this point unless i restart Live 8 it won't work at all...also when i have saved work in Live when recalling it the data is all lost and replaced with the default oscillations...the sync problems also apply to the arp...i'm only 2 days into using Live with the Virus,so there maybe yet more to discover!!

Make sure you operate Ableton Live at 128, 256 or 512 samples buffer size (no "in between" values like 440, 387 or such) and also make sure you have the "Ableton Live" preferences entry "CPU - plugin buffer size" set to "as audio buffer". If this is the case, then you also should try the recommendation given in the "TI Setup Guide" and here on the former to other users with Intel i3, i5 or i7 processor system by using a powered USB 2.0 hub between the TI and the Mac.
