No SOUND & MBP Problems

having an issue with the TI for the past few months... i set it up install the latest software, get it running in my DAWs (Studio One, Live), the plugin shows up, registers MIDI info (i see the light blue bar "bounce" when i press a note) but there is no sound. tried all the output options, usb and analog, no dice. technically, it seems everything is ok, that it should be running as it shoulld, but the end result is NO SOUND

also, on my new MBP, when i plug in the virus to the usb, i get a error warning about a usb hub, i press ignore, and get a very high pitched piercing tone coming from my speakers, which doesnt stop until i restart my computer.

ive tried reseting the virus and installing all sorts of version of software, whats could the problem be??

i tried contacting support to no avail

[TicketID:SI00018364]

was told maybe it was my DAW (S1) as it is not supported, but the same issue persist in Live 8. was also told to reset the virus, which i have done several times, re-synced the device memory but still no go.

okay, i must admit that's not very helpful :(

when you play something and you use the analog outs, can you check if you get sound there?

Are you using a midi keyboard or is your virus a full keyboard unit ? my TI desktop didn't work with my midi keyboard at first when i plug it directly in , then i realized to run it to the computer , then to the virus and then i could hear sound . Don't know if this is helpful im kinda new too . good luck . Also i work in Logic and i have studio 1 but ive never used it so i don't know if your problem is within there .
