virus and cubase 5 mixer

hi
i am new here.

i am on cubase 5.

is there a way to have the 16 splitted virus tracks in the mixer of cubase.
now, i can see just a track called OUT 1;

You can have 3 via usb then your analogs and spdif (if full TI) via audio tracks. To enable all your usb ones press f11 to get your vst instruments up (the virus must of been added here) then there's this little arrow thing by the right of the "e", click on this then activate all outputs.

If you want to separate more parts than you got outputs then you can always bounce down or freeze if you're using the vst3.

after you initialize your board in the device setup menu.. just activate the virus in the vst instrument tab and you will get a chanel out. of course use midi that way you can have lots of chanels to play with just by adding a new midi track every time u need a new sound.

the config name you use in the device setup menu must be included in every new midi track.. as well dont forget to change the chanel numbers for each subsequent track added.

the virus control synchs very nicely with this method of recording.

for the moment, i have just a track called "out 1", on which one I can put FX. but this track regroups the 16 instruments of the virus ti

I want in my mixer, each 16 differents instruments to mix down or put fx on each ones
is it possible?

I'm guessing you haven't enabled the extra outs in the vst instruments rack? Even though this is for kontakt follow what the guy does after 4 minutes with the TI: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSio7CLMCJY

You'll have three stereo outs by the plugin, if you want any more you have to use analogs or bounce down.

then i see the OUT1, OUT2 and OUT3 in the mixer.
I have 4 instruments (via the virus control) and i want to put different eq on each one.

the sound comes from the out1.

i suppose, i can't do what i want. snif lol
i will bounce each new thing i do

In the common page where it says main out turn it to whatever usb you want to use for that part.

héhé

discover new thinngs every day

so i can work with the 3 outs which appear when I click on the " little arrow thing by the right of the "e".", then choose which outs i want to use for the instrument.

tx for taking some of your time to help me.

why in the common page, in OUTPUT and MAIN OUT, the usb3 L+R is closed. i can't use it
