Wavering pitch issue Ableton Live 8.

I have a project in Ableton Live 8 with a couple channels of my Virus TI being sequenced as an external instrument. While I play the track the patches playing back from the synth are pitch wavering up and down like a warped record. I don't know what caused this. I have replaced the patch with other presets and the same issue happens with the presets. Any ideas?

Thanks, MC

I had a similar issue on a recent track. I'm running a Snow along with a Polar. So, I don't know how it happened, but mid-way along the project, the Snow just got detuned a couple of semitones and stayed that way. No matter what I did, restart project, comp, virus etc.

Final solution was to reset the Snow. I think, it's pulling out the Power cable and holding Tap/Tempo for 10 or 30 secs. Look up the reset technique. Could work for you.

Or somehow within Live some automation got recorded.
