psytrance sound banks or commonly used presets.

Hi,

Please can you tell me if you know of any available banks for psytrance. If not then perhaps you know of commonly used presets?

Thanks for any help you can give,

F.M.

Don't know if I would call it s, but starting with the Init patch, you will get a lot further. The more you use your Virus, the more you will start to see how to make the sounds in your mind. It's really a good thing when you can think of making sounds you want when you are away from your synth and then sitting in front of it a programming it in there.

What actual sounds are you looking for? Maybe I can teach you how to program it.

I'd also be interested in hearing about synthesis of some psytrance-style leads. It's not really what I make but I've always had a soft spot for Infected Mushroom's synths and melodies - I'm pretty sure they use a Nord Lead for most of their stuff, but the timbre can't be that difficult to recreate. The lead at 2:28 in The Shen, the cool distorted thing at 2:04 in Dracul, and the melody at 5:16 of Symphonatic are three things I've always been particularly curious about; came close but never able to nail them down.

Square waves sync'd and detuned against each other with light dist and a phaser that modulates with a light bandpass filter by a LFO.

Awesome, thanks! This works neatly with a simple arpeggiator, now to complicate things :P

Ah, to be able to compose and play like Erez.
